Bombardier Makes Another Connection	May 22, 2002

Delta Connection, the world's largest operator of Bombardier aircraft, has placed another order through Atlantic Southeast Airlines for three additional new CRJ200s.

This conversion from existing options represents the first significant order from a U.S. regional operator since September 11th-- a positive sign in an industry that has faced incredible challenges but is showing signs of improving conditions. The deal is worth approximately $68.7 million U.S.

Delta's family of Connector airlines are the leading operators of Bombardier-made aircraft in the world. With the addition of these latest three CRJs, firm orders total 237 CRJ100s and 200s plus 54 CRJ700s. Delta has options on a further 389 CRJ200s and 700s.
